In addition to discussing the inspiration behind each song, Noyz & Dusty share how they both started this album at a period in their lives when they weren't sure they wanted to keep making music anymore. Dusty talks about a trip to France where he worked under the wing of Young Guru and a collective of talented producers and engineers from all over the world that gave him the inspiration to push ahead with the album, and how a gig in Austin, Texas at SXSW let them know they were on the right path. Noyz also talks about becoming more vulnerable with his lyrics, confronting painful emotions in his writing, and what it was like to be seen as a peer by an artist in Big Rube who he's admired for decades. Along the way, they also talk about the stigma of addictions and divorce in the South Asian community and the unhealthy ways that men can sometimes process grief.
