388: The Game Awards 2023, GTA 6 and The Day Before

In this episode, we talk all about The Game Awards. We dive into the winners and losers and discuss a bit about the show format and what could've been done to make it better. We also talk about all the world premieres, some exciting and some less than exciting for the team here at The Inner Gamer.

We also talk about what we want from Grand Theft Auto 6 now that the trailer is here. We digest the tiny details and go into what we hope they deliver with this next-gen game.

In regard to cancelations, The Day Before was pulled 4 days after it went on sale. It was a bit of a disaster and everything thinks it was a scam. Was it? We also talk about the cancelation of The Last of Us Factions, their multiplayer experience that was in full production.

Finally, Fortnite is back and with it a ton of new games literally inside of the game. We have Lego Fortnite, Fortnite Festival and Rocket Racing to talk about as well as the exciting new season.
