Welcome to the all-new Just Enough Trope, the podcast where we explore the reasons that your favorite media is the way it is. From movies to TV shows to literature to video games, stories are often built around repeated elements and we're here to talk about them all!
Time loops in media are scenarios where the protagonist is trapped in a day or place and sees the world round him resetting itself over and over again (and again). Sometimes it's a narrative about self-improvement, sometimes it's a fitting punishment, and sometimes it's just plain fun. We're here to identify the types of time loop stories, what they want to say, and to highlight one in particular: "Through the Flash" by author Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah.
