Communities United Against Police Brutality of Minneapolis is presently engaged in a proactive solution to stop police brutality. Minneapolis, similar to many municipalities around the country, is self insured for police brutality and misconduct claims. The bottom line of this arrangement results in taxpayers shouldering the financial bill for the acts of misconduct and brutality of rogue officers. Additionally, the cost is compounded because taxpayers are forced to continue paying the salaries of these criminal cops.
