+++ ALWAYS ESSENTIAL +++

How often have you heard the terms non-essential and essential as it relates to the pandemic and lock-downs? Have you, like me, ever wondered who determines something or someone as essential?

To classify something or someone as essential means everything or everyone else is non-essential. Is that what is being conveyed?

Here's what I know, the label of essential is determined by who is in need at the moment.

To the hungry, it's the one who provides food.

To the thirsty, it's the one who provides a drink.

To the homeless, it's the one who provides shelter.

Having said that, I believe the term essential can be used in the context of skills.

Every successful leader became successful because they mastered a few essential skills.

In this episode of The Kingsley Grant Show, our guests - Brett Cooper and Evans Kerrigan, will help us understand what leadership essential skills are needed to succeed in today's workplace.
