Mark Fainaru-Wada, co-author of the book League Of Denial and ESPN investigations reporter, is this week's guest on The US Sports Podcast with Max Whittle. Fainaru-Wada, along with brother Steve, wrote the book in 2013 described as 'the NFL, concussions, and the battle for truth'. Mark goes in-depth about the timeline of concussions in the NFL before and since the book was released four years ago, the stories he found out spending time with retired player Chris Borland, Jerry Jones' belief that there is no link between American football and brain trauma, the recent study in the New York Times that revealed 110 of 111 examined brains of deceased football players had CTE, the legacy of Dr. Bennet Omalu, youth football across the United States and the future of the sport.
