Could you be experiencing burnout and not even realise it?
In this episode I’m talking about burnout - but not in the usual way. Not “you’re burned out because your job is stressful - try to rest and do some self-care”
I’m talking about what happens when your job role is really out of alignment with who you are as a person, and how burnout can come from this.
If you are constantly working out of alignment with your own values, beliefs, and purpose then over time your resilience will be worn down, you’ll start to lose who you are and what your passions are, you’ll lose a little piece of yourself here and there until you’ve forgotten who you are anymore.
If you stay in a place of burnout for too long you can be left feeling emotionally drained, completely exhausted, and even ill (both physically and mentally).
