Today on the NativeTalk.net radio podcast, we begin with a totally mature discussion of why Daylight Saving Time is terrible, how it began, why we continue doing it today, and other general facts including who (including Native American tribes) does and does not observe it. Then we get into the new proposal by President Trump to cut food stamps by 25% and replace it with boxes of food. Of course, as Native communities know all too well - this is something that has been tried before (and it didn't go very well). Listen to todays show to find out details, including what Native communities are doing to improve the food box system (which is largely still in effect today).
