This episode features a conversation with Chris Selby and Whitney Becker, both from Traverse City, Michigan. Chris and Whitney are musicians on the worship team at New Hope Church in Traverse City, and they co-wrote Lord You Are My Rock, a song based on Psalm 18. The song is the second release on a new album by the New Hope Worship Project that consists of 9 songwriters who are also musicians on the worship team at New Hope Church.

Chris Selby plays sax, flute and keyboards, and is on the worship and songwriting teams at New Hope Church where his wife, Ruth also plays. He has performed in bands from Los Angeles to San Diego to Traverse City, and has played at The Crystal Cathedral, Disneyland, Hotel Del Coronado, a Rams Game other venues, and has written and recorded numerous songs over the years.

Whitney Boecker is a lead vocalist and songwriter on the worship team with her husband John at New Hope Church. She has recorded several solo projects, and has performed them live. She graduated recently with a two year college music degree. She plays ukulele and piano.
