As you can imagine, the fallout from Hurricane Helene was still on the top of everyone’s minds. The guys had some hunting property woes to deal with, but their concerns were with the widespread devastation experienced by people across the entire southeast. Again, if you have any way to help, please do…so many people need so much help!

Ed Malin and Chef Gordon checked in to talk about the massive support the First Coast supplied to Madison County, NC. The details of what they saw and experienced is not to be missed…you have to listen to believe it.

Of course the storm damage talk went hand-in-hand with hunting area prep, and Jeff, Kevin and Kirk couldn’t stress it enough: THINK SAFETY FIRST! Even if a stand looks safe and secure, don’t trust it…TEST IT. Check every weld, every strap, and check the tree itself for stability.
