It has been a big couple of weeks in music and Pete and Marn are talkin about it this week on The Pete Podcast. Pete confesses he is digging Jojo Siwa’s new single (and has a hysterical reference for her new look). However, he is less than thrilled that Taylor Swift’s The Tourtured Poet’s Department has turned Marn into a late-blooming Swiftie. Marn’s defense is that it is her most angry album yet, and therefore speaks to her Gen-X tastes. Which brings them to Pearl Jam’s newest release, Dark Matter.

Pete’s feelings as an OG Pearl Jam fan lead them down the path of discussing Pete’s long-held Pearl Jam conspiracy theory. Are Pearl Jam’s early albums missing a writing credit? Is the missing link of grunge simply a footnote? If you love the grunge music scene that came out of Seattle in the late 80’s/early 90’s you’re going to want to watch this. Pete and Marn are talkin Green River, Malfunkshun, Mother Love Bone, Soundgarden, Chris Cornell, Kurt Cobain, Layne Staley, Andrew Wood, Pearl Jam, Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament, Eddie Vedder, and more.
