Hello! Welcome back to a brand new episode of The Queerience in this weeks episode I`m joined by Reverend Rhina Ramos from Ministerio Latino, Rev. Rhina Ramos leads Ministerio Latino in Oakland, CA. Her call to ministry was to create a space where Latinx LGBTQI immigrants are welcomed and loved and thus she began this faith community in December 2011. Pastor Rhina has 25 years of experience in non-profit work. Before being a full-time pastor, Pastor Rhina was a lawyer, a community organizer, a facilitator, non-profit manager and instigator. Originally from El Salvador, she is proud to come from the land of volcanoes. Pastor Rhina also leads a national United Church of Christ Program called Proyecto Encuentros Gracia y Bienvenida to create LGBTQI inclusivity and visibility.
