A lot of things have changed during COVID-19. Many companies and people switched to working from home from working onsite. And with this kind of setup, many people were challenged mentally. Those who are not used to working alone, working from home, and staying at home.
Some employers or companies are doubting about switching from working from home to working onsite because there are a lot of factors that may cause the employer to be not productive. Not all people are the same, some can still work and be productive while they are in the comfort of their homes, while others are not. So, which one are you? Are you comfortable working at home and still being productive? Or, you are one of those people who prefer working in an office and find themselves much more productive? Let's find out through this episode!
In today's episode of The Recovering Entrepreneur Show, I have been joined by a passionate mental health advocate, a TED speaker, and an author, Michelle Dickinson. She is committed to improving the lives of youth.
Michelle spent years working to eradicate the mental health stigma within her own workplace by elevating compassion, causing more open conversations, and leading real change in how mental illness is understood in the workplace and within the first responder community.
Here are some topics we have discussed during our chat:
  • Some reasons why an employee could be feeling not connected and not productive.
  • Tips on how to keep your employees motivated and productive.
  • Why mental health matters in the workplace.
  • Her memoir entitled Breaking Into My Life
