The next generation of talent is key to our profession’s future, and taking on apprentices and students holds untapped value and potential for all involved.
Having successfully developed a route for youngsters to grow their skillset at Muse, Managing Director Phil Mayall MRICS joins Lorna Heaven, Director of Capital Projects at Cheshire College to discuss how such schemes can be best implemented throughout the industry. We hear first-hand experience from one such apprentice at Muse, Raheim, and learn more about the motivations and potential barriers of our next generation professionals.
This episode of The RICS Podcast covers:

  • Preconceptions of entry demands in the industry
  • The need to improve industry information available at an educational level
