Tommy is a tax lien sales expert who literally wrote the book on the subject. On this episode, he describes the tax lien sales process in detail. Once on a dare, he says he bought a small canal home at auction in Port Charlotte, Fla. — sight-unseen — and flipped it within a week, making a profit of $11,000!
He says you've got to know what you're doing, but you can learn how to avoid the pitfalls. One important rule, he says, is don't invest money in a tax lien sale that you can't afford to lose in case something goes wrong.
