In terms of derbies within Scottish football, the "north-south" Lanarkshire derby is one of the fiercest rivalries in the country. When Airdrieonians and Motherwell have met in the past, the clashes have been memorable - but since the turn of the century the two clubs have rarely crossed each other's path. Now with both teams set to meet in the Scottish league Cup, Andy speaks to Brian Smith of Diamonds TV and Douglas Dickie of Motherwell FC and The Well Society to talk about their memories of games played between the Diamonds and the Steelmen back in the day.
