New week, new episode from your faves! And yes, it's music review week y'all!!! This week, Danny and Naomie dissect, rate, compare, and review two great bodies of work by Nigerian sensations Fireboy, and Chike. But of course, you know we had to start off the episode with Kendrick Lamar (2:45) following his Superbowl Halftime Show headliner announcement this past week, and what better song than DNA. Then we recap what happened at Danny's birthday house party last week (7:58) and yes, Naomie was throwing ass! LOL! Naomie then poses the question of the week (22:45) on defending problematic friends in public.
On Nana's Corner (38:29), we discuss the biggest stories in Pop Culture this week starting with the uproar caused by Kendrick Lamar's Superbowl announcement as Nicki Minaj, Birdman, and many hip-hop fans call out Jay Z for snubbing Lil Wayne, then we talked about Shannon Sharpe mistakenly having sex on IG live, Diddy catching more fire amid another assault allegation, Kamala/Trump debate, James Earl Jones' passing + MORE! On the main segment (1:06:25) of the show this week, we go through each song off Ademola, and Son of Chike giving our honest critique about both albums and offering our reviews on both artists.
