Bird and Wright teamed up to write about politics, the kingdom of God, and theology in light of the polarized nature of western societies. They make a compelling case that followers of Jesus need actually to follow Jesus in his teachings about the kingdom of God as an antidote to the competitive and destructive nature of politics these days.
