Tim Walz is accused of Stolen Valor. He is not the first Democrat Vice Presidential Candidate to be guilty of the deed. There are far worse occurrences in the past, most notably with President Lyndon Johnson.
Other presidents from both parties had military careers far more distinguished than Johnson, yet flaunted their achievements not at all. But since Johnson and especially now, Democrats are guilty of boasting of deeds both real and imaginary. From Johnson to Hillary Clinton to Elissa Slotkin and now Tim Walz, the trend is disturbing.
