In the last beatitude podcast, we discovered that an attitude of meekness is strength under control of Almighty God—which allows us to become both powerful and gentle. We learned this attitude only comes through Christ, as Creator and Sustainer of all things. Meekness allows us to experience the outer limits of God’s power in our life. But how are these first three BE-Attitudes sustainable in a world where we are constantly encouraged to be MORE self-sufficient and LESS dependent upon God? Jesus answers this question in the next Be-attitude. “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.” Matthew 5:6 In this podcast we answer this questions: What is it you hunger and thirst for the most?
