Today on the podcast we’re talking about our micro marketing agency Bold Creative, which we ran from 2009 - 2016. It was started by accident. This is the story.

Becki talks about how working at a marketing company lead to burn out early in her career as a designer which ultimately lead to wanting to start her own business. We discuss the original business idea which was a streetwear company, which ultimately failed due to overthinking. We deep dive on the screen-printing studio side of our business and talk about the one big job that did us in.

Later we talk about the differences between working with clients as a freelancer, and working with brands as a creator. We break down the important lessons we learned from our 7 years running our marketing company, and how those lessons cross over to doing YouTube full-time.
