Psychology of Clustering: How Mixing Things is NOT the Answer

Rather one should focus on Clustering? Let's understand with an example, pay attention to this list:

  1. Rice
  2. Flour
  3. Tomato
  4. Butter
  5. Peanuts
  6. Lentils
  7. Potato
  8. Strawberries
  9. Duct Tape
  10. Hammer

Assume this as your list. On your visit to the Super Market. You would prefer clustering these into groups which are accessible to you in the Super Market and more importantly this would make the process of buying easier for you.

Similarly, the Super Market had already clustered similar items in dedicated shelves so that it'll be easier for you to find them. Making their process of selling easier.

We should apply the same for our content.

Tune in to the episode, I've shared a few more examples.

Cheers guys!
