In this episode of Theology Unplugged, we dive deep into the controversy surrounding William Lane Craig's neo-Apollinarianism. I’ll walk you through the historic understanding of the hypostatic union, even though I didn’t use the term explicitly, and explain what Craig is teaching in this area. While some label him a heretic, I’m not entirely convinced that his views fall outside the bounds of Chalcedon. Yet, I do think he pushes theological boundaries too far at points. Ultimately, we need to rest in mystery and embrace apophatic theology, focusing on what we cannot define, rather than over-explaining the divine. Join the conversation and share your thoughts on Craig’s perspective and the balance between mystery and theological clarity. I’d love to hear where you stand on these important discussions in Christian thought.
