Doug Gorman - Birdies for Brittney
Manage episode 438122451 series 3511642
Doug Gorman joins the podcast to talk about Birdies for Brittney, a golf tournament and charity established to honor the life of his daughter Brittney. Brittney was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on May 22, 2017. Tragically, she passed away only three days later on May 25, 2017. Brittney was a wife, mother to nine-month-old Emery Rose, a daughter and a dear friend to many. Birdies for Brittney benefits scholarships for local students and community non-profit organizations, extending Brittney's legacy of helping those around her.
Doug is a former division-one college athlete and business owner. More importantly, he’s a civic leader, contributing in numerous ways to his community both as a private citizen and in public office. He currently serves as Judge Executive in Warren County, Kentucky.
While this year’s event taking place on Monday, September 9th at Indian Hills Country Club is sold out, you can learn more and contribute to the cause through any of the following links...
