Welcome back to True Word, Faith for LIFE! I’m Dr. Shawn, and Monday at 10 am EST and Part Two Friday at 5pm EST, we’re diving into a topic that has fascinated believers for centuries:
God’s view of time and the mystery surrounding the 1,000-year reign. What does it mean for us today? Is it a literal or symbolic period? And how does it align with God’s eternal perspective on time?

Time is a concept we wrestle with—finite, linear, and often overwhelming. But from God’s perspective, time is a creation He sovereignly rules over. He exists outside of it, yet He works through it in ways that challenge our understanding. The Scriptures speak to this with both clarity and mystery, offering glimpses of God’s eternal plan.
Over the years, I’ve done a bit of teaching on this complex topic. After intense biblical research and prayerful reflection, I’ve come to some conclusions that I’d like to share with you. This is part one of a two-part series where we’ll explore God’s view of time, the 1,000-year reign, and what these truths mean for our lives.
