Charareh
Manage episode 282680914 series 2859061
I am so honoured to have Charareh Pourzand on the podcast. Her integrity and intelligence, forged through over 30 years of working as a scientist and researcher, shine through everything she does.
Charareh is a Swiss Iranian who moved to Bath in mid-nineties. She is an academic reader in biopharmaceutics in the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmacology at Bath University. Charareh has an active research laboratory and works mostly on the effects of sunlight on skin.
Charareh's hobby is teaching traditional Persian and Middle-Eastern Belly-dance. All proceeds of her dance classes are donated to Médecins Sans Frontières.
I hope that you enjoy the episode as much as I enjoyed talking to this inspiring woman.
