This episode features a panel discussion on rural healthcare, sponsored by the Student Association of Rural Health at the University of Iowa College of Public Health. The panelists emphasized the importance of relationships and community and discussed the need for rural primary care providers to be comfortable with being uncomfortable and knowing when to ask for help. They also highlighted the challenges of limited resources in rural hospitals and the need to recognize when a patient needs to be transferred to a different facility.
