Welcome back to the uprawr podcast! Today's guest is Steve Tannett who is currently the top dog at Marshall records which is the label division of the famous Marshall amps. Steve talks to us about what a record label should do, what his job involves and the history of how Marshall records came to be. He also goes into detail on how indie labels really emerged and what his life was like in the 80s working for some of the biggest Uk indie labels that were at the forefront of the punk movement.
