He got mixed up with Ed Nash and it ended costing the lives of four people because of a robbery Holmes asked someone to do against Nash. Holmes refused to testify in fear of his life and Nash told him he was going to kill him and everyone in his address book, which he had obtained somehow. During his 110 days at LA Men's Central Jail he had dealings with Vonda Pelto because of his high profile status. She was brought in by health authorities to prevent serial killers waiting for trial and other inmates who might be at risk of harming themselves.
