Wake Up Sydney - Weather, Traffic and Trains
Welcome to another exciting episode of Wake Up Sydney! In today's segment, your ever-energetic host Johnny Rocket provides an essential update on the weather, traffic, and train services for Wednesday, 25 September 2024.
Starting with the weather, Sydney currently sits at a comfortable 23.6°C and temperatures are expected to rise to a warm 30°C by the afternoon. Over in Parramatta, the forecast is quite similar, beginning at 23.9°C and reaching a high of 30°C. However, Bondi Beach is slightly warmer, starting off at 25.1°C and peaking at 28°C later in the day. Picnickers, take note! There's an expectation of a few showers across all regions, with Sydney and Bondi Beach likely experiencing a light drizzle, and Parramatta expecting a late shower.
On the traffic front, take caution if you're headed to Sans Souci. An accident has occurred on Sandringham Street at Robert Street, leading to the closure of one southbound lane. Commuters should brace for delays and consider taking alternate routes if possible.
For those traveling by train, particularly through Olympic Park, be aware that a minor operational issue is causing train services to run every 20 minutes instead of the usual 10. Plan your journey accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.
Despite these small hiccups, Johnny encourages everyone to stay positive and enjoy their day in beautiful Sydney. Remember to tune in tomorrow for the latest updates!
