Good morning, Columbus! It's time to check out what Mother Nature has in store for us this weekend. I'm here with your local weather forecast brought to you by the National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio.
Today, get ready for some sunshine with a high near 64 degrees. You might feel a west wind blowing between 14 to 18 miles per hour - so hold onto your hats!
Tonight, the skies will stay mostly clear, with a low around 46. The west wind will calm down a bit, easing into a gentle 6 to 9 miles per hour, before shifting to the south after midnight.
As we roll into Sunday, there's a chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly after 5 pm. It'll still be mostly sunny with a high near 76. Expect a southwest wind picking up at 13 to 17 miles per hour. Keep an eye out for some possible new rainfall amounts, especially if those thunderstorms roll in.
Sunday night, the chance of showers and thunderstorms lingers before 2 am. It will be mostly cloudy with a low around 54. The west wind will be around 9 to 13 miles per hour. Keep those umbrellas handy!
Moving on to Monday, we're back to sunny skies with a high near 74. The north wind will be a gentle companion at around 6 miles per hour. And for Monday night, expect partly cloudy weather with a low around 51.
Looking ahead to Tuesday, there's a chance of showers with thunderstorms possible after 2 pm. The day will be partly sunny with a high near 77. Keep an eye out for a 40% chance of precipitation.
