Fantastic chat with Max Rodio, President of Hammonton Pride, and Maddy Milan, winner of the inaugural Miss Hammonton Pride pageant! Our conversation covered the history of Drag, self expression, and the importance of diversity and community.
Together Max and Maddy worked with The Noyes Museum of Art of Stockton University to curate the exhibit, "Drag Is Not A Crime". This exhibit features spectacular vignettes showcasing the colorful fashion of drag, as well as highlighting the profound impact the queer community have had on the history of Souther New Jersey.
There is still time to get out to see "Drag Is Not A Crime". The exhibit is running until September 29th at Kramer Hall in Hammonton, NJ. To find out more about the exhibit, visit https://stockton.edu/news/2024/drag-is-not-a-crime.html
