Who should we blame for the Bruins loss in game 4? And game 3? And game 2? Of course we should blame the Bruins. They haven't been good enough. It is a difficult thing to admit when you are wrong - and The Sports Machine with Slim hates to say it - but Florida is the better team. Nonetheless.....Something fishy is going on in the series with Florida. Sam Bennett literally punched Brad Marchand right in the face during Game 3 in a play that resulted in the Bruins captain being pulled from the game, and then having to sit out Game 4 as well. The camera angle that the league had (which clear as day shows the dirty, dirty play) - wasn't released to the public until the day of Game 4. That is suspicious. In fact, it is outright illegal. A man clearly sucker punched another man, resulting in serious injury. Yet the league takes no action? They allow Sam Bennett to play in Game 4 with zero repercussions whatsoever? Well that results in the Bruins having to do something about it themselves......which results in the Bs taking a few penalties....which results in fewer shots on net....which results in a Game 4 loss. Im not here to say the Bruins are better than Florida. The Panthers have been the better team in this series. But the refs AND THE LEAGUE sure as heck have done their best to try to help the Panthers as much as they can. I am here to say that LOUDLY!
