This week, a few months away from the 2nd anniversary of the end of the Marawi Crisis, our Maranao brothers and sisters continue to face a humanitarian crisis as thousands are still left displaced. While the Marawi Siege has made headlines in recent history, we look deeper into the root cause of the never-ending war in Mindanao.

Today, we speak with former senatorial candidate Samira Gutoc. She is a resident of Marawi, a former member of the Bangsamoro Transition Commission, a former assemblywoman of the ARMM legislative assembly, and a longtime community leader.
