10. Living in Fear, Limiting Beliefs, and Stepping Out on Faith
Manage episode 321404422 series 3281729
I can think of so many things I've experienced when it comes to my own healing journey and mental health. I know that there is one constant I can think of... fear!
We all know what fear feels like, but what exactly is fear? According to the Oxford Dictionary, fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.
We experience fear in so many ways and living in fear can cause us to adopt beliefs about ourselves, the world and people around us (limiting beliefs) that aren't healthy and don't really serve our best interest.
In this episode I get into my own experiences with fear, share my experiences with insecurity and doubt and provide tips on how to overcome those things. I even get a little vulnerable and talk about one of the toughest periods of my life dealing with ILVEN! I've discussed this in detail on my old blog and I've never really gone into detail here. This was an important episode for me to make and I genuinely hope you can take something great away from it. These can be hard things to deal with, but they can be overcome!
