Nancy Fox-Kilgore, MS is a survivor of sibling abuse and bullying. She holds a Master’s degree from the University of Oregon. Her B.A. and teaching credentials were received from Sacramento State University. Nancy is a leading expert on Bullying, Sibling Abuse, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. She is the author of EVERY EIGHTEEN SECONDS: PERSONAL JOURNEY INTO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE and THE SOURCEBOOK FOR WORKING WITH BATTERED WOMEN. She has recently published GIRL IN THE WATER: A Personal Story of Bullying & Sibling Abuse. Alexis Fraser, Toronto based artist- specializes and is becoming known for her unique non-traditional methods of creating art. In collaboration with her husband, they create innovative and entertaining videos that capture her artistic process. Her overall approach is take the high brow stuffiness out of visual art and to appeal to the masses by thinking outside the box and bringing a new twist and fun element to art. Outside of capturing non-traditional methods of art on video, Alexis enjoys painting traditionally in her downtown studio where you'll find a nice collection of her figurative paintings. She welcomes anyone in the area to come by to meet her and see her work anytime! Stephen Richert has learned what diabetes has meant to him over the last 14 years since he was diagnosed: an opportunity to embrace challenge, one step at a time! Stephen grew up thinking that climbing was something that was meant for “other people” who were braver or stronger, but when faced with a life altering diagnosis with T1D at age 16, he decided that he couldn’t afford to leave the great deeds to the great. He wanted to make his mark and get a piece of the action even if he was a complete beginner with little natural athleticism.
