In this episode I had the privilege of having Jean Mitchell come on to talk to us about her life dealing with brain cancer at a young age, being a Professional Rower, and her goal of going to the 2024 Paris Olympics. Jean has an incredible story that is full of determination, fight and grit, and it was an inspiration to hear how she dealt with those tough years, along with what the future holds for her.

Here are some key points that Jean and I discussed:
- Seeing 4 specialists all who didn’t pick up on the symptoms
- Dealing with the unknown
- Having brain surgery
- Completing year 12 while going through chemotherapy
- What 2 years of treatment was like
- Having a strong support network with friends and family
- The journey back to rowing at an elite level
- Representing Australia and pushing for the 2024 Paris Olympics

I hope you all enjoy listening to the conversation Jean and I had and can take some inspiration and determination from the stories she shares, to help you all on your self improvement journeys.
