Making waves with a poignant statement on the runway, Zurhem's Spring Summer 2024 collection, "Blue Drops," stands as a powerful commentary on humanity's detrimental impact on the marine ecosystem. Guided by Zurhem's visionary Creative Director, Mehruz Munir, the collection draws deep inspiration from the ocean, addressing generations of pollution and harm. The collection features recycled fabrics and up-cycled fabric waste, transformed through intricate hand embroidery and embellishments. This approach underscores Zurhem’s dedication to couture and craftsmanship.

The color palette transitions dramatically—from the darkness of black, representing pollution and degradation, to the glimmering gold of hope, and finally to the serene blue of a revived ocean. Each piece tells a story of degradation and resurgence, a visual journey that mirrors the ocean's own struggle and recovery.

Enhancing the collection's theme, the runway itself was designed to immerse the audience in an underwater experience, complete with atmospheric lighting and fluid movements. The show’s climax featured Bollywood superstar Arjun Rampal as the showstopper, bringing a touch of star power to this socially impactful presentation.
