If you find this topic interesting, and would like to have something more in hand… there are many books on this topic. And in my experience, listen I have been deep diving nto this topic since years aback. Did a lot of training and had to read these excellent but difficult to understand books. Maybe its just me, but the references to all the studies done, the comparing of various studies, it distracts me from finding answers to the question I have as there never seems to be a fluid reading taking place.

That is why I have a choice for you. Basically two quick and easy two read books, that will give you hand on tools to become mentally better runner. Means practical hands-on advice that you can go out and do. That will have a major effect and improvement on your running.

Now I said two because, well the one is called Brain Training for runners’. Here please note, in the amazon search bar, be sure to enter my name as well as the title. If you enter brain training for runners’, you will be presented with a undoubtedly great book, that goes way into details, so much it is over 600 pages. And I doubt you are going to read it all. So Heiko Stribl, Brain training for runners. For those processes to get into a different state of mind as a runner. Buy it as a paperback, you will be glad you did.

Then the second one, this I recommend if you are struggling with one of two things. If you want to go for your personal run streak, but somehow seem to fail equal amounts you start, or if you want to overcome those excuses to go for a run. If you really want to become that “no excuses “ runner. Hey choice is yours, you can keep on following those runners in admiration from strava, and Instagram, and give them likes and words of encouragement. But you know what. They, those runners which you admire, they don’t need you encouragement. They already have it figured out. They are doing it. Whether you double tap or leave a smiling emoji along with power fist, doesn’t affect their run performance at all. Trust me on this one, I know what I am talking about here. IT doesn’t matter to me whether you think my running is crays, too much, might get injured – too many miles. Hey, If you want that mindset of no excuses this book if for you, Catchy title too, so its not for everyone 365days of running. Your guide to a 365day run streak.

Who wouldn’t want that. A one full year of running to look back to. Can you imagine how you will feel if you have that under your belt? I mean seriously what’s going to stop you now? What’s going to seem impossible if you have managed to build a routine, maintained that level of discipline, and overcame many excuses, reasons, NOT to run.SHOWNOTES:
