Episode two highlights how hospitalization is a known opportunity to offer addiction services, including harm reduction. The philosophy of harm reduction and harm reduction supplies can be incorporated into healthcare settings. We describe two approaches to implementing harm reduction in a hospital setting, with a focus on obtaining support, implementation, challenges, and lessons learned.
