I'm getting real with you today about client management and dealing with those sticky situations that can come up when working with clients. This is a topic that comes up a lot in my own community and in the masterclasses I've been teaching, so I thought I'd share my thoughts and experiences to help you out.

We're chatting about:

  1. Getting clear on your ideal client and the type of person you want to work with. What are your non-negotiables and boundaries? Naming and claiming your audience is like a filter that helps you attract the right people from the start.

  2. Having a solid vetting process in place. Ask meaningful questions in your discovery calls that help you determine if a client is a good fit. Things like their goals, budget, past experiences, and willingness to take action.

  3. Setting expectations early and often. Communicating clearly how you work, what you need from the client, and what they can expect from you. Putting it in writing and make sure you're constantly reiterating it throughout the relationship.

  4. Being the leader in the relationship. You're the expert and it's up to you to guide the client and the project. Create a roadmap, set milestones, and keep them on track.

Working with clients you love and who are a great fit for you and your biz is the goal. It makes the whole process so much more fun and enjoyable. So take the time to set yourself up for success from the start.
