Speaker Bio:

Barry Mulholland is the founder of MBI Healthcare Technologies. Formed in 2012, they are a company who's goal is to reduce waiting times for patients. This was all before the current issues and explosion of waits so they were trendsetters!
Barry has extensive healthcare experience in commissioning, strategic reform, operational performance improvement, financial recovery and market analysis. He has worked with some of the largest and most influential global healthcare organisations.
Barry has a broad range of expertise and experience having worked in informatics, NHS General Management and for the Intensive Support Team. He has developed a reputation for his RTT knowledge nationally and regular contributes to central debate and policy shaping. Barry has supported over 60 Trusts to improve performance and the quality of their information.
Working within the NHS exposed Barry to the complexities of implementing healthcare systems. Despite the name "National Health Service," each hospital had unique requirements and operations, making it incredibly challenging to implement a single system across multiple institutions.
Barry faced these challenges head-on, utilising his knowledge of computer science and data management to find innovative solutions for the healthcare industry. His experiences have shaped him into a seasoned leader capable of navigating the intricate landscape of healthcare technology.
