Banyana coach Des Ellis was used to breaking barriers as a footballer and achieved great success as a player, even amidst trying circumstances.

A journey that went from many moments of heartbreak and uncertainty, to victory as she guided the team to numerous trophies and eventually the Women's African Cup of Nations.
