Gina and Chris start with the premise that we are all salespeople, whether the word is in our title or not. If you’re delivering the product, you’re selling. If you’re asking your boss for a promotion, you’re selling. If you’re trying to persuade your kid to go to the museum - you’re selling! But in this episode Chris and Gina argue that what motivates the sale should come from a place of empathy, kindness, and desire to give rather than take. Chris touches on the stigma attached to the word ‘salesperson’ and Gina shares a recent example of when she was surprised, and crucially motivated, by an unexpected tactic.
