As a result, we start suppressing the pain to keep it all inside of us. Then, we put on all sorts of masks to hide what is really going on in our lives. Oftentimes, making it possible for unchecked emotions and triggers to greet us with constant drama and strife. Deanna is one of three contributing authors in the anthology who have decided to speak up and speak out as a way to heal herself and others in similar predicaments.
