Once an essential moral category, sin is now regarded as an archaic concept. If we encounter the word at all these days, it’s likely in a trivial sense. A decadent desert might be described as “sinful,” for instance, but most of us would balk at the notion of characterizing someone’s behavior as sinful. And yet some of our most incisive thinkers (Christian and non-Christian alike) agree that this is an indispensable category for understanding humanity.
In this episode, Dr. Kenneth Boa and Stuart McAllister explore how we might recover a deeper understanding of sin and its place in human life.
