Wow, right when Jesus needs the disciples the most,.... what do they do? It's painful to realize but they fall asleep. But even here Jesus doesn't get moody or lash out. He is so emotionally healthy that He intensely challenges them to grow, to become more for their own good and for the good of others, even though they are failing Him!
Jesus never "reacts" like we do. But, often we misinterpret his words and ways. If you can constantly see that He never rejects the disciples but is always training them to care about others and to face the future - you will understand His actions.
Even in this situation, Jesus is training the disciples to face the Roman oppression and the attacks of the religious Pharisees and Sadducees that will occur in a few weeks because He is about to die.
Everything He does is for our good and the good of those around us!
