This is part of a conversation we've had in August of 2020, where we discussed the courage it takes to share your weaknesses. Many people think that I don't care what other people think about me—but nothing could be further from the truth. For most of my life, I cared deeply about impressing others, and I got very good at hiding my own struggles and weaknesses—not only from others, but even from myself. And I even judged people who shared their weaknesses openly, was repulsed by it. But healing doesn't happen in hiding—healing happens in the light.
