Brenda's career in technology spans working in many industries and roles, including a startup and large hyperscale companies including IBM and most recently Google. Huge passion for infrastructure, hard work and growing large teams who deploy, support and maintain through the entire technology life cycle resulted in growth opportunities for promotion to regional director at Google Data Centers. This included responsibilities for a substantial portion of Google's worldwide capacity. Cares deeply about creating a more diverse, equitable and inclusive environment for those most underrepresented in technology related roles, with many of her own experiences being the “only one” in leadership roles.
