Housing, healthcare and affordability --understandably-- are taking up much of the conversation around the 2024 provincial general election. But with little to no talk of the arts in the provincial election, this has some people within that community asking why not and sharing awareness of the benefits increasing support for the arts community can have for everyone. And to speak more about this, I spoke with two guests earlier this afternoon. Therese Cruz is the Executive Director Visual Arts Nova Scotia. Chris O'Neil is the Executive Director of The Ross Creek Centre for the Arts and Co-Chair of Theatre Nova Scotia. The first voice you'll hear is Therese.
